The Fleet is a serious, story-based Garry's Mod Star Wars Roleplay server based around the Galactic Empire, seeking to provide a genuinely unique, story-focused roleplay experience to both inexperienced and experienced serious roleplayers. To accomplish this, we plan to center the story around a single planet, its inhabitants, and the events affecting them.THIS SERVER IS STILL IN MAJOR DEVELOPMENT! OUR DISCORD IS INCOMPLETE AND SO IS THE GARRY'S MOD SERVER. ADVERTISEMENTS ARE MADE IN THE ATTEMPT TO GAIN A PLAYERBASE BEFORE LAUNCH.Our server focuses on the following tenets:
Creating a serious, story-focused atmosphere while allowing for time and space for people to interact out-of-character.
Maintaining a friendly, and inclusive culture for those new to, and experienced with serious roleplay.
Allowing for people of all backgrounds, and orientations to have a safe place to interact with fellow Star Wars fans.
Maintaining the server with a reasonable and generous monetization model. This is a hobby, not a business, we only need enough to keep the lights on.
Introductory Lore Summary
Set in the early years of the Empire, our story takes place on a snowy, mountainous mining world which provides precious, though inert gemstones to the Galaxy's wealthy and prominent. Low production and a history of disloyalty to the Empire has incurred the re-opening and renovation of a planetside military station, last used in the early Clone Wars. Above it all lies The Ascendant, an Arquitens-Class Light Cruiser which stands as a symbol of the reigning state.
